Man dies after falling on a rebar

It was a devastating end to Fat Tuesday festivities in Biloxi this afternoon.
Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove tells News 25 that 20-year-old Braydon Hester of Ocean Springs died at 4:07 p.m. at the Merit Health emergency room.
Biloxi Police Chief John Miller says Hester fell off the back of a pickup truck and landed on a rebar sticking out of the ground. Authorities say the jaws were used to clip the rebar and place the man into an ambulance.
Hester was under the I-110 Bridge on Howard Avenue.
The investigation into Hester’s death will continue.
