Man charged with statutory rape in Pass Christian

A 33-year-old man has been charged with statutory rape in Pass Christian.

Police Chief Daren Freeman said Isidro Lopez-Noricumbo was arrested at the station on Monday evening after coming in for questioning in the case.

Freeman said the investigation is ongoing. Lopez-Noricumbo is accused of having a sexual relationship with a female minor.

Lopez-Noricumbo is in the Harrison County jail. His bond is set at $250,000.
