Man charged with arson after fire on Old CCC Camp Road
An Ocean Springs man is behind bars, charged with arson.
Jackson County Sheriff’s officials say 29-year-old Branson Causey is charged with arson after a fire broke out yesterday in the woods on Old CCC Camp Road, which is off Ocean Springs Road near Plymouth Road.
Causey will have an initial appearance tomorrow.
Several agencies battled the blaze, including the Mississippi Forestry Commission.
No word yet on how it started, but the investigation is ongoing.
