Man charged with aggravated assault in Gulfport shooting
Gulfport Police have arrested a man charged in a Tuesday night shooting.
23-year-old Jose Ramos was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was taken to Harrison County jail and bond was set at $250,000.
Officers were sent to the 1900 block of 18th Avenue about 8:27 p.m. Tuesday night in reference to a shooting.
On scene, they found a victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital where his stable.
Police say Ramos approached the victim and shot twice.
