Man charged with fatally shooting 17-year-old

A Gulfport man is facing murder charges for allegedly shooting a 17-year-old at 11:30 last night in the Crown Hill subdivision.
Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson said 22-year-old Edward Earl Dubose was arrested on the charge of murder.
Last night, deputies were called to a home on Hopewell Lane. When they arrived they found the body of 17-year-old Tyjuan Johnson of Gulfport. Authorities say Johnson suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.
Dubose was arrested this morning in Gulfport. He’s being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $2 million bond.
