Man charged in puppy death after turning himself in
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Biloxi police have arrested the man accused of killing a two-week old husky puppy earlier this month.
Investigators say 33-year-old Bradford Duplantis turned himself in Friday evening on a felony charge of aggravated cruelty to a dog.
As we’ve reported, the case began early April 4 on Jim Money Road, where officers responded to a medical call involving a man with severe injuries, later revealed to be Duplantis.
The investigation revealed two separate assaults, first on Beach Boulevard, then hours later at a home on Floyd Drive where Duplantis was beaten and choked by two suspects, Matthew Bolton and Austin Delano.
During the second incident, police say Duplantis killed that husky puppy, prompting Bolton and Delano to continue punching and kicking Duplantis.
