Man charged with felony murder in Harrison County

One Harrison County man is now behind bars after admitting on Facebook to murdering his roommate. Thirty-nine year-old Gabriel Curtis has been given a felony charge of murder.
Sheriff Troy Peterson received a call from a Florida resident for a welfare check on Pine Bark Lane in Saucier. The caller told deputies Curtis has been in a Facebook video chat with them and had admitted to killing his roommate. While at the residence Curtis arrived home where deputies arrested him.
During an interview, Curtis admitted to shooting and killing his roommate then said he could take authorities to the body. Curtis led investigators and the Harrison County coroner to a wooded area off of Exit 75 in Jackson County. There they located the body.
Curtis is being held in lieu of a one million dollar bond.
