Man charged after making threats to judge in relation to Nolan Wells case

A California man is facing federal charges after allegedly making violent threats in connection to the Nolan Wells death investigation.

According to our media partner, the Sun Herald, 27-year-old Joseph Alfredo Vasquez Dumarce of Sacramento is charged with Interstate Transmission of a Threatening Communication.

Dumarce is accused of sending threatening messages over social media to Jackson County Chancery Court Judge Ashlee Cole.

FBI Task Force agents traced the email address linked to the account to identify Dumarce.

If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines.
