Man Charged after Injuries to Three-Year-Old Boy in Jackson County
On April 11, 2016 at 12:16 deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Singing River Hospital in reference to a welfare concern of a three-year-old child with injuries. Hospital staff had been advised that the child had fallen down a flight of stairs.
The child was transferred to USA Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Mobile and is currently in pediatric ICU where he is currently being treated for his injuries.
The child was transported to Singing River Hospital by Acadian Ambulance after his grandmother called 911 after her son Nathan Blake McCrory brought him to her and told her he fell down the stairs and his home at 17103 Rayford Shumock Road.
Nathan Black McCrory is in custody at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center on a charge of child neglect and a charge of cultivation. More charges are expected.
