Man arrested for possession of marijuana and questioning in murder investigation
The second suspect wanted for drug possession and questioning in a Gulfport murder is now in the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
According to Sheriff Troy Peterson, deputies arrested 45-year-old Eric Boykin of Gulfport for one felony count of possession of a controlled substance today. Investigators conducted a search warrant on Boykin’s home following the murder of 17-year-old Tyjuan Johnson. During the search, a felony amount of marijuana was discovered.
Boykin turned himself in to the Biloxi Police Department and was transferred to Harrison County. His bond is set at $200,000.
