Man Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting in Biloxi

In less than 24 hours, there have been three separate shootings on the Coast in three different cities.
Today in Biloxi, a shooting leaves a Gulfport man dead and his cousin in custody for first degree murder. News 25’s Shelby Myers was on the scene and she reports.
A feud between two cousins turns a gym parking lot into a bloody crime scene today. Biloxi Chief John Miller said, “There was a dispute in the parking lot and someone was shot and killed.”
Allen Harris was pulling into work at Iron Works Gym off of Eisenhower Drive in Biloxi when he noticed the parking lot swarming with police. “Everybody was calling me asking what was going on, so it was definitely a big stir. Definitely a big deal,” he said.
Twenty-six year old Chris Andre Fairley shot multiple times, killing his 21-year-old cousin Mark Anthony Fairley in broad daylight. A witness tells News 25 he heard three to four gunshots go off. Chief John Miller says they found the suspect just up the road in Gulfport after he sped off from the parking lot.
With the help of eyewitnesses, a suspect vehicle description was developed and police arrested Chris Fairley near Courthouse Road and Commerce in Gulfport. The motive behind the shooting is still to be determined.
