Man arrested after climbing on wing of plane preparing to take off from Las Vegas airport

LAS VEGAS — It was a jarring sight to see out the window of an airplane.

A video posted online over the weekend shows a man climbing on the wing of a plane as it was about to take off from a Las Vegas-area airport.

A spokesperson for McCarran International Airport says he had hopped a fence.

Staff spotted him around 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

The spokesperson says police and airport officials took the man to a medical facility.

As for the plane, it went back to the gate for a full inspection.
