Man arrested, charged with attempted murder in Gulfport
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- A man is in custody after a stabbing in Gulfport Tuesday afternoon.
Fifty-one-year-old Floyd Charles Guy has been arrested and charged with one count of attempted murder.
Just before 12:15 p.m. on April 8th, Gulfport Police Department responded to the 1300 block of Tropical Cove in reference to a reported stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.
A short time later, officers found Guy walking down the street wearing clothing covered in blood. He was taken into custody without incident.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Guy is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $1,000,000 bond.
