Man arrested after domestic violence stabbing in Gautier
GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV)- Gautier police arrested a man following a domestic violence stabbing.
It happened Sunday morning around 6. Officers responded to a reported stabbing at an apartment complex in the 2000 block of Ladnier Road.
Investigators say a 27-year-old victim was stabbed during the incident and was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Police identified 32-year-old Christian Starks of Foxworth as the suspect, but he fled the scene before officers arrived.
According to Gautier PD, officers searched the surrounding area and located Starks while he was allegedly attempting to force entry into a nearby residence.
He was arrested and charged with domestic violence-aggravated assault.
