Man Accused of Child Abuse Denied Bond

Bond has been denied for the man accused of severely abusing his three-year-old son.
Twenty-four year-old Nathan Blake McCrory had his initial hearing today in a Jackson County courtroom. He is charged with felony child abuse and manufacturing a controlled substance. His son, Zander Saucier, is in a Mobile hospital still suffering from critical wounds that were originally reported from a fall. After an investigation by Jackson County authorities, McCrory was arrested and charged in connection with the little boy’s injuries.
Nathan McCrory’s grandfather, Gary McCrory, was at the hearing today. He tells News 25 he was behind the wheel when he heard the news. “I was so upset I couldn’t drive. If you knew that little boy, that little precious baby, I mean, he’s precious.”
McCrory’s grandfather says he still doesn’t believe his grandson beat Zander.
