Make-A-Wish sending local three-year-old to Walt Disney World

Over in Biloxi at Big Play, Make-A-Wish granted a toddler’s wish to send her and her family to Disney World.

Three-year-old Scarlett McCubbin has been in remission for a year after a bout with cancer, along with other health complications.

Her parents, Amanda and Mike, share more about the surprise and celebration. “It’s everything for us. I mean, everything we do on a day-to-day basis is for our family and our kids and striving to get better and, you know, making everything work. You know, we’re a blended family so it’s a little tough at times but you know, we make it work and it’s been a little bit of a struggle last couple years everything but we get there and so she’s definitely put a perspective on life. To appreciate more things and smaller things.”

Scarlett’s parents also they are so appreciative of Make-A-Wish and give a huge thanks to their family for their support.
