Make-A-Wish honors donors and volunteers at appreciation breakfast

Make-A-Wish Mississippi is taking the opportunity to recognize all of those who believe in the power of a wish!

Several donors, helpers, and volunteers were honored today during the Make-A-Wish Appreciation Breakfast for helping to grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.

Those honored received books remembering all the wishes granted in 2022, goodie bags, sponsor appreciation plaques, and more.

South Mississippi Director Shellie Moses says Make-A-Wish is more than just giving to a cause. “For most donors and for our volunteers, they get to actually be a part of the what our mission is. They get to go out with the kids, they get to meet the kids. They get to play a special part in their lives.”

Make-A-Wish also announced Apryl Ready as the 2022 Wish Society’s Woman of the Year.
