Make-a-Wish grants local child a trip to Disney World

Make-a-Wish is back with another granted wish to a Coast child!

This time, Waveland eight-year-old Khai Thomas was granted his wish of a dream trip to Disney World in Orlando.

Today, Khai and his family met up with Wish Giver Cindy Kenny who threw Khai a little party with pizza, cupcakes, and balloons.

The Blind Tiger charters team even offered Khai and his family a fishing trip out on the water where they caught several fish to wrap up the evening celebration.

Miss Kenny says days like today are exactly why she signed up to a wish granter in the beginning. “We’ve been working on this for two years, so it’s been a long time coming, and to finally make it here and not only make it here, we’ve got these guys that are offering their charter boat for a really nice ride around the harbor here at the end of the day. Everybody’s been so generous and they’re so happy and can’t wait to get off on their trip.”

Khai will be going on his trip to Disney World later this month.
