Major improvements completed at Long Beach harbor

LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Long Beach is marking another milestone in its effort to reopen the city’s harbor.

The city announced last week the completion of new boat ramp docks, calling it a major step forward in the ongoing harbor improvement project.

The upgrades will improve access and safety for boaters while enhancing the overall experience for visitors.

The new docks are part of a larger plan to restore and modernize the harbor as work continues on reopening this important community asset.
