Magic Vegan Café offering 100 percent plant-based food in Downtown Gulfport

Magic Vegan Café in Downtown Gulfport offers your favorite comfort foods, but plant based.

It’s one of the few vegan restaurants on the Coast and the owner/chef opened the café almost three years ago. He says he is personally vegan to save animals.

On the menu you will find pulled pork sandwiches, fajita burritos, and mac and cheese, all one hundred percent plant based and animal free.

Instead of using beef or pork, Owner Travis Hans uses what he calls ‘unicorn meat,’ which is a wheat-based substitute. “I’ve just been honing in on the food for 25 years and getting it better and better it was just so good I knew this is where I needed to go in life and get this food out on the market. I just try to make it simple with food that I know people I grew up with in the south would enjoy.”

If you would like to try the Magic Vegan Café’s comfort vegan food, they are open Monday through Friday with curbside pickup only.
