Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church hosts annual First Responder Luncheon

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- First responders are always there when the community needs them. Today, it was the community’s turn to serve them.

A local church showed its appreciation with a special drive-thru luncheon.

Nearly 200 first responders pulled up at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Ocean Springs for its annual First Responders Drive-Thru Luncheon.

The event gave those who serve the community a chance to grab a meal and enjoy some appreciation.

The menu included fried catfish, baked and fried chicken, coleslaw, green beans, rolls, homemade desserts, and drinks.

But the day was more than a good meal, it was a chance for the community to serve those who serve them every day.
