Lucedale woman dies in two-vehicle crash in George County

A Lucedale woman died Friday night after her vehicle collided with another on Highway 63 in George County.

Mississippi Highway Patrol said the crash happened about 9:50 p.m. Friday. Troopers responded to the crash and said 20-year-old Diana Givens and 20-year-old Destiny Givens, both of Lucedale, were traveling south on Highway 63 when their car collided with another driven by 21-year-old Kaniya Carey of Pascagoula, who was driving north.

Destiny Givens died at the scene. Diana Givens and Kaniya Carey were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
