Lucedale man sentenced for battery, domestic violence
GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-A Lucedale man will spend 25 years behind bars after pleading guilty to sexual battery and aggravated domestic violence.
Thirty-six-year-old Logan Barber was sentenced to 40 years, with 25 years to serve day for day without parole.
The charges stem from a September 2024 incident in Lucedale, where investigators say Barber assaulted a woman and held her inside a camper against her will.
The victim was eventually able to escape and get help, leading to Barber’s arrest.
