Lucedale man dies after being struck near George County Fairgrounds
A Lucedale man died after he was hit while walking on Old Highway 63 near the George County Fairgrounds.
Sheriff Mitchell Mixon said deputies responded Thursday evening to the fairgrounds, where a man was walking along the highway and was hit by an SUV.
George County Coroner Deeann Murrah identified the victim as 43-year-old James Attaway.
