LSU alum Jarvis Landry signing with Saints

Less than two weeks after signing former LSU icon Tyrann Mathieu, the New Orleans Saints are barking up the same purple and gold tree once again.

Today, Jarvis Landry announced his plans to sign with his hometown Saints, having grown up in Lutcher, Louisiana, less than an hour west of the Big Easy.

A second-round pick of the Miami Dolphins in 2014, Landry holds the NFL record with 400 receptions through the first four years of his career.

His last four years in Cleveland haven’t been quite as productive, coming off a career-low season in catches, yards, and touchdowns.

He’ll be part of a revamped wide receiver corps for the Saints featuring a healthy Michael Thomas and first-round draft pick Chris Olave.
