Low gas prices in Mississippi

If you haven’t fueled up recently, we have good news for you.
A dramatic drop has taken place overnight in gas prices with some gas stations reporting a drop of up to six cents. Gasbuddy.com is reporting that the average price for regular unleaded gas in Mississippi to be $2.14 with the lowest marked at $1.96.
News 25 spoke to a few people at the pumps who all seemed delighted with the post-Christmas prices. Texas Resident Douglas Jones said, “I came from Texas, 600 miles. $1.98 is as low as I saw so $1.99 is good.”
Resident Lewis Pucheu said, “I’m hoping it keeps going low, but $1.99 is good with me, too.”
Pucheu says he also saves three cents per gallon by pumping with gift cards at his neighborhood Walmart.
