Longtime Picayune Coach Dodd Lee selected for MAC Hall of Fame

One of the winningest high school football coaches in the history of the Magnolia State is getting his due just two years after retirement.

Today, longtime Picayune Head Football Coach Dodd Lee was named to the Mississippi Association of Coaches Hall of Fame class of 2022.

Now an assistant coach at Pearl River Community College, where he also played for two years before Southeastern Louisiana, Lee spent 24 years as the head man of the Maroon Tide, leading the program to a pair of state championships in 2011 and 2013.

Lee complied an overall record of 222-74 at Picayune, retiring after the 2019 season.

Lee one of five legendary inductees, joining the likes of Willie Collins, Jimmy Mitchell, Shane Montgomery, and Dean Shaw.
