Long Beach wins second straight title after beating New Hope in 5A State Title Game

Long Beach asserting its dominance in the 5A boys championship game, dispatching New Hope 4-1 en route to the Bearcats’ second straight state title in their fifth consecutive trip to the Metro.

Long Beach actually having to come back from an early one-goal deficit, but rallied behind goals from Ethan Myers, Landon Van Court, Ethan Laborde, and game MVP Dylan Kippes.

The Bearcats finish the season with an overall record of 17-2-1.
