Long Beach student awarded Chick-Fil-A Scholarship

A high school student from Long Beach was just awarded a $25,000 scholarship from Chick-Fil-A.

Seventeen-year-old Christyan Bennett works at the Chick-Fil-A on Highway 49 in Gulfport where he’s commended for his leadership skills, positivity, and friendly service.

He’s one of only 12 Chick-Fil-A team members nationwide to receive this scholarship.

The students were all selected through their inspiring personal stories showcasing the many obstacles they’ve overcome to pursue their academic dreams.

Bennett will be the first in his family to attend college and he says he’s eager to utilize his past life experiences to help craft a better future.
