Long Beach School District honored by city
LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Long Beach is honoring their school district with an official proclamation this week.
The Long Beach School District has been recognized as the number one school district in the state.
City officials say this accomplishment reflects the dedication of the teachers, staff, students, and families.
October 30 has been declared ‘Go Maroon Day,’ this district will host a parade and a community celebration at the Harper McCaughan Town Green following the parade.
