Long Beach residents face charges in child abuse case
Two Long Beach residents are facing felony charges related to child abuse.
Long Beach Police Chief Billy Seal said 28-year-old Omar DeLuna is charged with felony child abuse and 36-year-old Angela Weigel is charged with accessory after the fact. Both were taken to the Harrison County jail. Bonds were set at $100,000 each.
The arrests stemmed from a report brought to Long Beach Police about the possible abuse of a child. Detectives determined there was enough evidence to make an arrest.
