Long Beach provides update on lift station improvement projects

LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)-The City of Long Beach is giving an update to their eight lift station improvement projects.

The city saying these improvements will enhance the reliability and efficiency of the wastewater system.

These projects were made possible through funding from the state municipality and county water infrastructure grant program as well as the American Rescue Plan Act.

Those projects include:

  • Ray Road and Klondyke Street
  • Beatline Road and Johnson Road
  • Latil Street
  • Alexander Road and Railroad Street
  • North Seashore Avenue
  • Willow Creek Drive
  • Parkwood Drive
  • Daughtery Road

As a note, the only project impacting traffic is the Alexander Road and Railroad Street Lift Station.

Crews have plans to repair and pave the roadway during the upcoming week.
