Long Beach primary election coverage

One Coast city has decided on a new mayor tonight. Five candidates, all Republican, went head to head for Long Beach Mayor Billy Skellie’s seat.

Retired Fire Chief George Bass pulls 61 percent of the votes. He will be succeeding Mayor Billy Skellie.
