Long Beach Political Hobnob
A political hobnob took over USM’s Gulf Park campus this morning.
Members of the Long Beach Board of Alderman responded to questions concerning their wards.
Ward 1 revolved around development areas and growth especially south of Jeff Davis Ave.
Ward 3 is mostly residential surrounded by churches, schools and the Seabee Base. Alderman Kelly Griffin’s main concern about the area is a lack of community feel.
Ward 5 Alderman Mark Lishen, although not physically present, wrote in a letter that an overall Long Beach concern is drainage, especially during flooding.
This was the second annual Long Beach Hobnob event.
