Long Beach police officer appointed to NAMI Mississippi board of directors
LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- The Long Beach Police Department shares that one of their own is serving the state in a big way.
Officer Shea Berens has been appointed to serve on the National Alliance of Mental Illness Mississippi board of directors.
The alliance provides education, advocacy, support, and resources for anyone living with mental illness. It also provides resources for their families and caregivers.
