Long Beach man pleads guilty to burglary

A Long Beach man pled guilty to burglary of an 82-year-old woman’s home.

Forty-eight year-old Arthur McMillan was sentenced to 25 years after the guilty plea. The crime happened in Gulfport in November 2016 when the woman woke to the sound of her alarm going off and her purse missing.

Surveillance video showed McMillian inside the woman’s home. She said the SUV he was driving matched that of McMillan’s who she hired through an advertisement to do repair work.
