Long Beach man charged with multiple car, home burglaries

A Long Beach man has been charged with multiple counts of burglary.

29-year-old Deqwaevious Jones was arrested Thursday and charged with three counts of burglary of a vehicle and two counts of burglary of a residence. He was taken to Harrison County jail and the bond was $450,000. An initial appearance has not been set.

He also has a probation warrant for an armed robbery, with no bond on that charge.

The arrest was the result of an investigation in which Jones is alleged to have broken into several vehicles and stolen items. He also allegedly forced entry into two homes,  stealing items from within.

The vehicle burglaries occurred in and around the 200 block of East Railroad Street. The residential burglaries occurred in the 100 block of Valentine Drive and the 200 block of McCaughan Avenue.
