Long Beach High seniors celebrate accomplishments at Senior Night

The school year is wrapping up soon and that means the class of seniors are ready to take on the next chapter of their lives.

Two-hundred and thirteen Long Beach High seniors sat down in their gym as they were given praise and good wishes on their future endeavors at their senior night.

The ceremony is a moment of celebration for these students and all they have accomplished.

The students each had their names called and had their future plans and goals announced to the audience. They then received their yearbooks as well as any academic award they have earned.

Several students were awarded scholarship money at the event to their surprise. Long Beach School District Superintendent Talia Lock said, “I am so proud of these students. I have been blessed to work in the school with this group of seniors, and when I say they are just a stellar top-notch group of students, that is no lie. They are a wonderful group – the class of 2022.”

The seniors will take their exams on May 9th and 10th and then graduate on May 17th.
