Long Beach Fire Department’s dispatch team recognized for work
LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- The Long Beach Fire Department is being recognized for their dispatch team.
This coming after a Harrison County 911 Commission Meeting. It was announced the only dispatch center achieving a passing grade for all 12 months of 2025 was Long Beach.
To earn a passing grade, dispatchers must answer calls within 15 seconds 90 percent of the time.
The team exceed that with the lowest monthly percentage at 93.3. The highest was at 99.9.
