Locals still letting the good times roll without Mardi Gras parades
With the cancelation of parades in South Mississippi you might be wondering how to even go about celebrating Mardi Gras on the Coast.
Well for one group of locals, they’re taking getting into the Mardi Gras spirit into their own hands.
News 25 spoke with a group of friends in Biloxi who are still celebrating Mardi Gras. Coast resident Terry McCormack said, “We’re just basically going to do a pub crawl through the parade route. Since we don’t have parades, we can still have Mardi Gras. At the end of the night, I want to just be with friends and family celebrating. We’re just trying to support all the local businesses during COVID and help the service industry make a little money.”
