Locals react to Kavanaugh hearing

Locals on the Coast are reacting to the testimonies of both Dr. Ford and Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

President of the Harrison County Republican Club Dan Carr tells News 25 he’s glad the committee allowed both Ford and Kavanaugh the opportunity to testify.

He believes the Democrats are using Ford to obstruct President Trump’s appointee to the supreme court.

Carr puts this in the hands of the senators to make the right decision. “At the end of the day, it’s just going to come down to her giving her testimony, him giving his testimony and then the senators have a decision to make. They have to look at what she says, what he says. It’s what she says happened 35 years ago, what he said did not happen 35 years ago, and they have to vote.”
