Locals Give Cake To Amr First Responders

The community continues to show support and appreciation for the first responders who exhausted all efforts in Tuesday’s train and bus collision in Biloxi
A woman and her kids approached an AMR unit yesterday with a cake thanking them for their hard work.
AMR had six to eight units on scene during the hours of first responders rescuing and treating victims at the fatal accident.
Officials at AMR tell News 25 even though responding to medical emergencies is what they signed up for; it means the world to be thanked.

“It’s really heart touching that the community does reach out to us I know we’re here to do a job and we’re all trained to do it and this is what we do day to day, but sometimes it is nice for someone to reach out and give us a little bit of above and beyond thank you’ s…it does help.”

Over a dozen law enforcement and first responder agencies pitched in during Tuesday’s fatal collision in Biloxi.
