Locals come out for St. Clare Seafood Festival in Hancock County

The annual St. Clare Seafood Festival in Hancock County had a little something for everyone to enjoy.

Hundreds came out to enjoy the delicious food and the carnival rides and games are always a family favorite.

On Saturday, several vehicles were on display during the Classic Car Show, featuring hot rods, antique models, and other sweet rides.

Vendors and artists lined the back patio with booths for guests’ viewing and shopping pleasures.

Seafood lovers were able to indulge in crawfish, shrimp, and other ocean delicacies throughout the weekend.

Mickey LaGasse says events like this are needed. “To me, it’s very, very important, not only do we get some of the best food from the best people, but you’re helping the church. If you look around, look at how many kids are affected and running around having a good, fun time that may have otherwise didn’t get to do that. So, we just love it.”
