Local student organizes special meeting with linemen at school
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- One senior at Gulfport High School helped with a service project this month.
Crosby Parker helped organize a special visit for Cooperative Month and Coast Electric linemen visited West Elementary.
Crosby serves as the Mississippi representative on the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s Youth Leadership Council.
As part of his duties, he organized the meeting that allowed linemen to explain what it means to power the communities of the Gulf Coast.
