Local restaurant ‘Sea Level’ welcomes new owner

A young 23-year-old entrepreneur has taken over a beloved local restaurant in the Pass Christian Harbor.

Kyle Thomas is a Pass Christian native and has been employed with Sea Level where he was the manager for six years and always dreamed of owning the restaurant.

Last February, the previous owners Dana and Thomas Barrett began working with Kyle to purchase it.

Kyle promises to keep the hidden gem the same and hopes everyone gets to experience Sea Level because it holds a special place in his heart. “It was my first job. I’ve never had a different job and I love it here. The view is amazing. The food is amazing. The quality of the crew we have is 10 out of 10. I couldn’t have asked for a better spot.”

Sea Level is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week.
