Local pageant girl prepares for Little Miss Worlds competition
Gulfport’s Caroline Syverson is preparing for the big stage! The nine-year-old is from Gulfport and has been competing in pageants since 2017.
Currently holding the title of Mississippi’s Our Little Miss for the 2023 year, Caroline is hard at work making sure she wows the judges at the Our Little Miss Worlds competition in Houston.
With this being her eighth time at Worlds, she is entering her age division confidently with her eyes on the prize.
Caroline says she’s most excited about the interview portion of the pageant because it allows the judges to get to know her on a personal level. “I feel like there’s a stronger connection, so they get to understand me and my fellow contestants better and not just there’s a stranger and we’re watching her walk on stage. You finally get to know the person and understand what their background is or understand their personality a bit more.”
Caroline will compete alongside other contestants at the world’s competition, July 7th through the 14th.
