We all played against each other with teams that we played against, so it’s a blessing to come together. We argue. We talk a lot to each other, talk a lot of trash, this, that. But together, it’s fun, bonding, making relationships.”

David Lewis said, “It’s a good team experience. There’s a lot of teams out here that like to go head-to-head. It’s usually a lot of beef actually. But when we come together, it’s all fun and games, just love out here. Just having a good season, had a good season, now it’s time to finish it off great.”

A.J. Phillips said, “It feels good playing with people I haven’t ever played with before. We’re here to win, South Side, representing the south, and we’re just going to see what the north brings Saturday. Only 80 players got selected, so we feel great to be out here, and we just get the chance to show what we’ve got.”

Saturday’s game kicks off at Gulfport’s Milner Stadium at 11:30 a.m.
