Local girl starts her own business selling homemade jewelry

Ten-year-old Izabellah Smith is one of the youngest entrepreneurs you’ll meet!

Izzy is her own boss at Izzy’s Homemade Jewelry, where she sells her friendship bracelets, decorated sunglasses, and more.

She started this business so she could have her own spending money, but it has grown into a way to share a little bit of happiness with everyone she meets.

During the summer, Izzy plans to continue to sell her bracelets to help fund the bracelets she plans to make for her local nursing home.

Izzy says everyone deserves a piece of sparkling jewelry. “I’m making them for the nursing home that way they can have bracelets too. Because my Mawmaw used to be in a nursing home, and I felt really bad for her. So, I make them for all people who are there so then they feel more happy and they enjoy them.”
