Local first responders honored at sixth annual Heroes at Fallen Oak Tournament
HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- First responders teamed up with Beau Rivage and Keesler Federal at Fallen Oak Tuesday for a golf tournament benefiting other first responders in South Mississippi.
Golfers representing 36 Coast law enforcement and fire agencies battled for bragging rights at the sixth-annual Heroes at Fallen Oak Tournament.
It’s a four-player scrambled setup and organizers say it was launched more than half a decade ago as a way to honor those who keep South Mississippians safe.
Preparation for the seventh edition of the tournament is already underway, which will be held around this time next year.
