Local elementary school opens time capsule from the 90s

Quarles Elementary in Long Beach took a glimpse in the past.

Students opened a time capsule from 1999! Letters from students, VHS tapes, and a newspaper were among the items brought up.

Plans are being made to display these items at the school.

Plans are in place to bury another time capsule in January which is expected to be open in 2050!
